As soon as I first heard about new task force for gender based violence in the news, I immediately reached out to the Honorable Layla Evans (minister of women and gender equality for NL) about the inclusion of economic abuse in the task force’s work and she welcomed my input.
This is the brief I submitted for the task force’s consideration and also to the office of Justice and Public Safety for their consideration.
